If you’re thinking about adoption, the first step is to learn more about the process so you can decide whether adoption is the right choice for you. Adoption Options offers several avenues for birth parents, those thinking about adopting, and others to learn more about adoption.
We are a welcoming, nondiscriminatory agency. We work with people of all types and are happy to consult with LGBTQ, single-parent, and other nontraditional families.
Consultations for Pregnant Women
If you are pregnant and don’t know where to turn for information, our caring, professional staff can help. Because we are local to RI and MA, we provide the kind of personal service that other organizations can’t offer.
Contact us at any time to arrange a meeting at the location of your choice. We’ll go over your choices so you can make an informed decision about what’s best for you and your child. Consultations are confidential and free of charge.
To set up an appointment, contact Adoption Options Adoption Coordinator Peg Boyle at 401-331-5437 or toll-free at 1-800-337-6513.
Adoption Options holds regular information meetings to explore how adoption fits into family choices. These meetings are free and open to anyone interested in exploring adoption. Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00pm, and last approximately one hour. They are held at the Rhode Island office of Adoption Options at 959 North Main Street in Providence.
If you would like to attend an information meeting, please contact us to confirm the dates and times.
